Rust repair

Warning!!!!! These images may make some people with weaker stomachs upset, they document serious neglect by previous owners of this chassis, and my endeavors to repair and correct these ailments.

what you are looking at here is the front crossmember mount, this needs repair asap. This is fugly

I cut out old front crossmember pickup point

I happened to have a spare tub, so I cut this piece out, and threw the rest of the tub away. A little bit of fitting and Ill weld this in.

After I welded the crossmember mount in, I started to fit the new sheet metal

eventually Ill weld all these new parts in. Im not going to use bondo as a structural element as the previous owner(s) did. A quick stock market tip...... invest in vise-grips ;-)
