Since the front pan of this chassis has been totally repaired, we braced ourselves for the impending attrocities we would uncover in the the rear suspenision. The previous owners did not let me down. The repair/ patchwork and pathetic attempts at metal working have made me (us) want to puke. You can get almost any stamping of a 911 chassis OEM or aftermarket. check out

When I get to the drivers side of the car Ill show how not to repair these areas.

This is the pile off well crap that some body shop thought would be an acceptable repair. I think the phrase " do it once and do it right" wasnt in that repair facilities book of phrases

We have other things going on concurrently with the body work, here is the lightened flywheel

New valve springs and Ti retainers

Im going to vent the air that passes through the oil cooler up through the hood, and perhaps gain a bit of downforce

Here I fit the oil cooler, now I have to make some cardboard templates to see where to cut the opening in the hood

check back soon for some updates
